While much progress is being made, societal and organisational structures continue to limit progress towards true gender balance in the workplace.

Traditional constructs present hidden barriers to women. Linear career progression with an assumed separation of work and home life, still underpins career success. Women tend to make holistic choices about their careers and lives, taking into account their wider relationships and their continually evolving responsibilities.

We must work together to dismantle the traditional constructs which make female leadership more challenging and support women to thrive in leadership while enjoying enriched and fulfilling lives.
